What information do we collect?

Your Name, Your Address, Your Date of Birth, Your Email Address, Your Mobile Phone Number....
Your Club Status i.e. member, visitor etc
If you are a visitor the person who is your club representative
If a skiing member we request you to confirm which boat you are associated too
A selfie (a quick photo of the individual)

Why do we collect this information?

As members of the club we are required to register you with the affiliated governing body for our sport. We pass on the following information, Name, Address, Date of Birth, Mobile and Email Address during your registration
Information that we hold such as club status, club representative and pictures are required to help manage membership of the club and are not used for anything else
Other than affiliated bodies of our sport we do not pass your information on to any other parties
We share your information with members of the club to ensure that individuals may be contacted if required i.e. there is a problem with your boat or the lake is to be shut for a short period of time
Using your information we share news updates, safety notices and communications appropriate to the general well running of the club

How long do we hold your information?

We hold your information whilst you are a member of the club. If not rejoining we will hold your information for a further year after which we will permanently remove your information from our database
In event that you leave the club part way through the season you may request removal of your information from our database and we will endeavour to do this within 7 days upon receipt of a written request addressed to the club secretary
